Certificate of Professional Competence CPC
National & International - Intensive or Distance Learning Options
An operator of vehicles over 3.5T GVW who wishes to obtain a Standard National or International Operator's Licence must be "professionally competent" and in order to Comply with this regulation, one of the options available is for the individual to obtain a Certificate of Professional Competence awarded by examination through the OCR examinations board.
CPC intensive courses are held 4 times per year, in line with the OCR examinations which are usually held in March, June, September and December. To obtain a CPC National a candidate must pass three modules - two "multi-choice" question papers and a case study. An additional "short response" question paper is required for a CPC International Certificate.
