The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road
ADR Initial Courses (for drivers who have no current ADR Certificate)
3 1/2 day Packaged Goods Course including 7 classes of chemical (Classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9) - suitable for drivers who are carrying hazardous substances in drums, sacks, cylinders, etc... held on a weekend of weekday basis. Training can be restricted to one class if required eg Class 2 (gases) or Class 3 (flammable liquids).
5 day full combined course for drivers who also require tanker training ie for hazardous substances carried in road tanker/tank containers (weekdays only). Tanker module can be taken separately (1 1/2 days) to "upgrade" an existing packaged goods certificate.
ADR Refresher Courses
3 day courses are available on a weekend or weekday basis for drivers who hold a current valid ADR Certificate to re-certify the original modules.
Training may be undertaken at any time within the 12 months prior to the expiry date of the current ADR certificate and the new certificate will be dated 5 years from when the old one was due to expire.
Examinations are held at the end of the course through multi-choice assessment papers.
